TorrentFecther ? Una soluzione interessante ai soliti torrent search engine, ciò perchè la ricerca torrent verrà condotta dal nostro desktop. TorrentFetcher è creato partendo dalla libreria MonoTorrent ma attenzione, come abbiamo detto nel titolo si tratta di una mezza alternativa ai torrent search engine, ciò perchè lo sviluppatore non ha rivelato il o i torrent search engine che vengono presi in considerazione per le nostre ricerche. Ulteriore nota è che i torrent sono fondalmente inglesi, niente da fare per chi voglia scaricare film CC o musica CC (CC, Creative Commons) via Torrent in lingua Italiana, non li troverà.
Perchè utilizzare allora TorrentFetcher di fronte a queste limitazioni ? Il sw potrebbe essere interessante a chi scarica spesso musica o film CC Inglesi, sw in lingua Inglese (freeware o non piratati) e intenda posizionare tutti i torrents in un unico folder a cui accederemo per far partire il download con un client come uTorrent.
Tra le diverse caratteristiche si segnala anche l’highlighting (evidenziazione) dei files appena scaricati (file torrent), highlighting di files con pochi seed oppure commentati negativamente e detenzione dei “denis stalker” che, come si dice su Internet, è forse uno dei peggiori torrent tracker in circolazione contenente anche malware …
